What do you want from your Mobile?

Parksfrequentlyusedmobiledevice_1 This survey is getting lots of coverage by those interested in the evolution of the mobile phone…and what problems it does (or should) try to solve?

While not conclusive based on numbers of interviews or statistical approach, it does highlight the constant need to reassess what users want from Mobile Applicances.  Is it communications, photos, scheduling or music?  Does this differ for enterprise users vs. consumer users?

Taken at face value, the survey highlights the emergence of location-aware services… and possibly the interest in photo-based geo-tagging.  I believe both will be important "feeds" for context-aware communications in the mobile mesh world.
